REQUIREMENTS:A SAQA-recognised, NQF stage 7 qualification in herbal sciences, bodily sciences or engineering. A PhD would be an delivered advantage. Minimum 5 years’ working ride at senior managerial degree in an astronomy environment. DUTIES:Manage the improvement and implementation of the Multiwavelength Astronomy Strategy and Square Kilometre Array (SKA) strategy. Manage astronomy-related governance and regulatory matters. Ensure astronomy-related human capital development. Facilitate associated science improvement and spinoffs. Strategic direction, human useful resource management, improvement and economic management.
